<p>Launching a new consultancy, bang in the middle of a huge recession was always going to be a gamble. We took a strategic approach and quickly developed a strong and diverse portfolio of clients and quite lietrally have grown from strength to strength, month on month.</p>
<p>So time to dust of the tux ready for the awards ceremony on the 26th March&#8230; good luck to everyone that has been shortlisted, its going to be a fantastic night!</p>

<p>In recognition of our own success, we felt it only right to enter NBG for the Observer Business of the Year Awards (Innovation category). After careful consideration, we selected the innovation category as we felt it best reflected the hard work and efforts we put in over the year.</p>
<p>Growing our clients businesses whilst the country was gripped by one of the worse economic downturns in history took some highly innovative marketing clever PR, exceptionally clever campaigns and a strong focus on growing and strengthening our clients brand awareness.</p>
<p>NBG has grown at a phenomenal rate throughout 2009 and this growth has meant we have had to implement new and innovative marketing tools and online services to assist and support our growing portfolio of clients. These tools include secure log-in areas for clients to file share, communicate and monitor project progress. In addition, we have implemented a highly sufficticated email marketing system, which again allows our clients to log-in and monitor campaign success.</p>
<p>NBG is based in Chichester and is fast growing to establish itself as the leading marketing consultancy in Sussex and with our application for the awards now handed in we wait patiently with fingers crossed and eagerly await the judges decision.</p>

<p>The team at newbrandguru has been working with Mobi since the official launch of their first product back in March 2009 at The Outdoors Show.</p>

<p>Buckhurst, owners of the Mobi brand approached NBG to develop a strategic marketing plan and clever launch event to break their highly innovative product into as many target markets as possible.</p>
<p>Since launching their first product, the Mobi V-15 Portable Washer, NBG has worked closely with the team at Mobi to fine tune their marketing strategy and grow their brand through clever PR campaigns, advertising and social media tools.</p>
<p>Following the successful launch of the Mobi V-15, NBG has launched a further two products for Mobi, the V-17 Portable Washer and the Mobi Power-Pack. Both are highly innovative products that required a strategic launch platform to boost their brand awareness and more importantly educate the target consumers.</p>
<p>NBG, work as an outsourced marketing solution for Mobi handling all elements of their strategic marketing, PR activity, experiential marketing and working closely with their European Key Account Manager on distribution and event management.</p>
<h2>Brochure Design and Event Promotions</h2>

<p style="text-align: left;">Following the development of the Mobi corporate brand guidelines, NBG worked on designing additional brand identity logos for each individual product and the product packaging. In addition, NBG created product brochures, event point of sale and marketing promotional &#8216;give-aways&#8217; including pens and t-shirts.</p>

<p style="text-align: left;">Highly innovative products such as Mobi, always have an educational buy-in process. Its important that we demonstrate the key benefits of the products direct to the target consumers, ensuring that they are fully aware of the products benefits. No better method of marketing acieves this better than experiential marketing. Experiential marketing engages your target audience, its the opportunity for them to touch feel and understand the product.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">As part of this marketing process, NBG took full control of event management for Mobi and in addition to the offical product launches secured an exposure deal with Goodwood Motor Circuit to engage the Breakfast Club attendees with their products.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">Throughout 2010, NBG will be working to a strict marketing activity calendar, ensuring maximum brand exposure throughout the year at key events. The Mobi product range has a very wide target audience, reaching this wide and diverse market requires both a clever and strategic marketing plan ensuring that set monthly budgets are utilised in the most effective manner to consistently engage consumers and grow the Mobi brand.</p>

<p>In late 2009, NBG assisted Muc-Off in breaking their new 2010 auto care range into the market place. 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>When Diamond Training Group were awarded European Social Funding in 2009, they approached newbrandguru and instructed us to device and implement a strategic marketing plan to promote the funding and training facility.</p>
<h2>Marketing and Brand Identity</h2>

<p>Following a full review of the existing marketing structure and business model, NBG set about rebuilding and redesigning their website ensuring the site worked as a strong information portal for students seeking training. As part of the development, NBG directed and filmed the training facility to give potential students a virtual experience of the training facility.</p>
<p>Following the launch of the website, NBG work closely with Diamond Training Group as an outsourced marketing solution, handling all aspects of their marketing including PR activity, brand awareness and integrated marketing campaigns.</p>
<h2>Digital Marketing and Website Design</h2>
<p>Having taken over the management of <a href="http://diamondtraininggroup.co.uk/">Diamond Training Group</a>’s web presence from an SEO company we have taken great measures to ensure that positions aren’t lost in transitioning to the use of <a href="http://wordpress.org/">WordPress</a> as a CMS. As you probably already know, <a href="http://wordpress.org/">WordPress</a> is an extremely capable and search engine optimised CMS out of the box but there are a great number of plugins and tweaks you can make to improve it further.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-large wp-image-497" title="diamond-website" src="http://newbrandguru.com/wp-content/uploads/diamond-website-670x489.jpg" alt="" width="670" height="489" />Without doubt the most challenging aspect of the SEO has been the fact that the new web presence is represented on an entirely new domain. The old but powerful domain name was inconsistent with the logo and branding and after a very lengthy meeting the decision was made to focus strongly on the new brand and domain name. On top of this domain change, Diamond Training Group also had two separate sites for their <a href="http://diamondtraininggroup.co.uk/courses/tiling-courses/">Tiling Courses</a> and <a href="http://diamondtraininggroup.co.uk/courses/plastering-courses/">Plastering Courses</a>. In moving domains we also decided to combine the 3 sites into one, and losing the keyword-rich domains that powered those sites may still prove to cause additional work with the SEO. There comes a point where you need to decide whether the user’s experience is more important than easy SEO, and thankfully we have on board a savvy and bold enough client to make that decision.</p>
<h2>Web Functionality and Web Tools</h2>
<p>In addition to highly targeted SEO, the Diamond Training Group website was built to be user friendly, with easy navigation and clever tools to assist visitors and more importantly improve sales conversions.</p>

<p>The first tool to be included within the website was a Live Chat facility, this enables website visitors to quickly engage with a member of staff from Diamond Training Group in a safe and user-friendly environment.</p>
<p>We also converted their corporate brochure to a flip version which visitors could either view online as a virtual brochure or make use of the download facility and print off a hard copy.</p>
<h2>PR and Event Management</h2>
<p>As part of our continued strategic marketing plan for 2010, NBG will be designing and delivering a number of events for Diamond Training Group throughout the year. These promotional events will assist us in driving new students through the training group and also give us strong PR hooks to promote the business through both local and national media.</p>

<p>The 2009 season Goodwood Breakfast Clubs had an  eclectic mix of vehicles and a tempting breakfast menu to whet the appetite of any motoring enthusiast. The Breakfast Club was originally launched to huge acclaim in March 2006 with a total of seven meetings, every one themed, and each attracting a strong ‘petrol head’ audience. In 2009, the Breakfast Club meetings were enhanced with a new set of themes, plus other initiatives designed to appeal to the real motoring enthusiast with a healthy appetite. In addition to some great cars, there were also themes to encourage motorcycles, trucks, buses, and even aircraft to attend, with appropriate themed planes parked up on the grid along side the other vehicles.</p>

<p>NBG has been working closely with the UK cycle giant, Raleigh UK after they signed an exclusive distribution partnership with Mobi. The partnership will increase the availability of the Mobi range of products for retail partners throughout the UK.</p>
<p>The team at NBG are currently working alongside the marketing team at Raleigh UK Ltd offering full service marketing support to assist with sales growth and promotion throughout their network of Cyclelife retailers.</p>
<p>The distribution agreement will enable Mobi to leverage Raleigh’s supply chain into an extensive customer base that includes well-known high street and online retailers, mail order companies and independent retailers.</p>
<p>Andy Parker, Product Manager at Raleigh commented: “The Mobi range is a combination of quality design, great value and amazing technology. <p>The team at NBG hold strong relationships within the autosport world and throughout 2010, newbrandguru will assist in marketing the Detailing World forum through auto publications and websites.</p>
<p>Detailing World is Europe&#8217;s largest online community for vehicle detailing enthusiasts and not only serves as a vital information portal for detailing enthusiasts but offers members information on products, events and discounts on advertisers products.</p>
